outfitsCommentMy Endless Wardrobe - End Outfit Boredom
outfits1 CommentDuring my New York Fashion Week visit to the East Coast I teamed up with My Endless Wardrobe to try what wardrobe renting feels like. Here is what I found.
First things first. What's My Endless Wardrobe? It's a clothing rental service where a personal stylist selects your pieces. Looking for work wear, some date night options or want to try mixing up your look? No problem, every item is selected based on your needs. You get 7-10 hand picked items worth $1000, which is a steal since the service is only $149 ($20 styling fee and a $129 rental fee). (At the end of this post you'll even find a discount promo code, how cool is that?)
When my box arrived I was excited and nervous. Is there something I'd like inside? What if it doesn't fit? Let's find out, I thought.
Opening that package felt like Christmas. Everything was put together with care. The first thing you see is a personalized card that guides you through your items. What I found really neat about the card is that my stylist actually took the time to explain her choices and gave some further advice on how to style the items. It was clear that Sophie (my stylist) actually did read my questionnaire, open all of my wardrobe inspiration links, and view my Pinterest boards. This impressed me because it wasn't an algorithm/software bot like some other clothing rental services. It's like your super stylish best friend that is sending you a look-good-feel-awesome-kick-ass care package.
So far, so good. But wait! All the pieces were beautiful but the big question was.. how would they fit/was the stylist on point? Let's find out! Here is my 7 piece wardrobe:
What was rented? Theory painted check 3/4 sleeve shirt Retails for $219 Your price on MEW if you decide to keep it $175
Finders Keepers front tie skirt Retails for $156 Your price on MEW if you decide to keep it $127
Fifteen Twenty mini dress Retails for $177 Your price on MEW if you decide to keep it $142 Note: This was the item I wore the most. This dress is so comfortable and flattering! It's a lovely essential that effortlessly transitions from day to night.
1.State tuxedo pants Retails for $105 Your price on MEW if you decide to keep it $84 Note: This was the item I was most nervous about. White tuxedo pants? A little too dressy for me, I thought. But you know what? They fit me like a glove and with a little imagination you can totally dress them down! I added a panama hat and a scuba top to bring the look to a more daytime affair.
Fifteen Twenty cross over split back blouse Retails for $195 Your price on MEW if you decide to keep it $154
The Fifth Cutout dress Retails for $138 Your price on MEW if you decide to keep it $110 Note: This dress has a very sexy cutout back. Unfortunately I don't have a snap of it. Just trust me :P
Julie Brown printed shirt dress Retails for $202 Your price on MEW if you decide to keep it $162
In case you are wondering why the wardrobe is so black and white, it's because I wanted something that was very New York and easy to match with the rest of the items I was bringing along:)
You can customize your wardrobe any way you want! And I mean any way! You can ask for dressy outfits or work clothes only...you can request more tops or more dresses...go for all color or keep it black and white...It's really YOUR call - your endless wardrobe.
Why do it? - Holiday season is coming! You can save so much by not buying dresses for all the dinner parties and get togethers you'll be attending. - You get beautiful designer pieces. (J.Crew, Marc Jacobs, DVF, etc) - You can change the style direction as you wish. - There is no pressure for you to buy. - You get to bounce ideas with a real stylist. - You don't feel guilty for hoarding expensive clothes that you've only worn once.
Is the price worth it? - $149 divided by 7 (the minimum number of items you'll get) is $21.2 per item for one month worth of fun. - You get high quality pieces. (J.Crew, Marc Jacobs, DVF, etc) - The chance of bumping into someone wearing the same thing is pretty low. - No time spent in fitting rooms and driving between stores.
If you want to try the service use coupon code ZORYMORY20 to receive $20 off your first wardrobe.

Welcoming San Francisco Summer With a White Sundress
outfits2 CommentsSummer and San Francisco are not two words you use often together. At least not in the traditional sense. But the weather has been a little weird lately. We've been having plenty of sunshine and even heat! I'm loving it! I can get use to that!
Yesterday, being eager for hot lazy summer days, I went on wondering around town. My original plan was to do adult stuff - run errand, take care of all the little things that can't fit my office hours. But weekends are not meant to be bound by agenda right?! So as soon as Humminglion called and suggested we do a photo adventure instead I was in!
Choosing my outfit wasn't hard at all. I've been hoarding summer clothes for months now, waiting for the warmness to arrive!
This white sundress is all about looking effortless and easy-breezy chic. Accessorize it with H&M straw hat and Soludos loafers and you are ready to walk on sunshine!
City-Chic Overalls
outfitsCommentCity-Chic Overalls. Yes, I just used the word chic and overalls in one sentence! It's possible! Overalls are a very controversial wardrobe piece and prove to be intimidating and challenging. But paired with the right top and accessories, you’ll look more runway chic than farmhouse fashionable.
Let's play!! Let's take fashion risks!
4 Step Easy Daily Makeup Routine
Beauty1 CommentI'm not the kind of person who wears a lot of makeup. It's not that I don't like it. I lack the patience of layering it and then having to maintain it throughout the day. Also there is no force on earth that can make me wake up 1h earlier in the morning to apply make-up. My "Look-like-a-human" daily beauty routine is really simple and easy. A standart make-up routine includes about 10 steps: moisturizer, corrector & concealer, foundation, powder, bronzer & blush, lips, brows, eye shadow, eyeliner, mascara. I only do 4: corrector, luminizer, eyeshadow, mascara
Step 1
Dark circles under the eyes!!! HUGE problem for me. Even when I get enough sleep I get them all the time.
That results in having the following conversation way too many times: People: Ohhhh, you look so tired. Are you okay? Me: Ah yes, this is just the way my face looks
A product I swear by is Bobbi Brown's corrector. Great for dark circles. Super easy to apply. All you need is to put some on your finger tips and then tap it gently underneath your eyes.
Tip: Color is key. Pink tones neutralize pinky-blue darkness, peach tones neutralize purple-brown darkness. In general, light to medium skin tones should use corrector in pink-bisque shades, while medium and warmer skin tones should use peach-tones correctors.
If you are uncertain what color suits you best just go to Sephora and ask an assistant to help you choose. I tend to go for a color that is lighter than my skin tone but be aware too light might create the reverse raccoon effect
Extra step: If you are looking for extra coverage apply concealer or a some foundation over your corrector. A yellow-based concealer one shade lighter than your complexion works to brighten the under eye area for all women.
Step 2
I love me a good skin illuminator. It's a semi-transparent cream with a very light tint and small sparkly particles. This product gives your skin a healthy warm glow. It basically simulates what a young good hydrated skin looks like.
Step 3
Eyeshadow (any brand really) I love using white or cream eyeshadow on the inside corner of my eye and under the line of my eyebrows. It's a trick that makes your eyes "open" and visually lifts your brows.
Step 4
Mascara I love mascara. It's magic! In 2 easy strokes my eyes have more defined look and a pop. You can go by personal taste, my vote goes for a mascara that kicks up the volume.
And that's about it. Takes about 5min and it's well worth the time.
General tips
Always clean your make up. Your skin needs to breath. I often use eye make-up remover for my whole face as I find it really gentle on my skin 1. MAKE Dual-Phase Eye Makeup Remover | 2.KIEHL'S SINCE 1851 Supremely Gentle Eye Make-up Remover | 3. NARS Gentle Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover
Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate Current favorite: Peter Thomas Roth Cucumber De-Tox Hydrating Serum |
Before you go out of your house always apply some sun protection on your skin. Use BB cream or sunscreen. Really. Use it. The sun feels lovely but it can be so damaging. Current favorite: Clarins sunscreen for face wrinkle control cream spf 50

The Wesley - Boutique Hotel In Palm Springs You Need To Know About
travelCommentThe Wesley Palm Springs is the perfect desert oasis that we discovered randomly. I hate to give out this gem of a hotel but I think everyone should know about it! :)
The Wesley is a boutique hotel with approximately eight different units varying in size and price. Each flat features original mid-century artwork and showcase nice design touches from the tasteful owners.
The location is great - situated in a quiet area near the main road that leads to all of Palm Springs, everything is literally minutes away. For example, the iconic pink door is just 5 minutes away.
We stayed in the micro apartment unit which included everything possible for a comfortable stay - a private patio, a gas grill, fully stocked kitchen, fast wi-fi, mini dining table, LCD TV, large comfy bed, and a clean modern bathroom.
In the common areas, there are bikes to use, an outdoor bar kitchen, washers, dryer, and an amazing pool/hot tub.
(interior images of our room by AirBnB)
You can book this gem through AirBnB or by directly emailing the hotel.
You all know what time it is! It's Palm Springs time!
In my next few posts I'll go over some of my favorite places in Palm Springs and day trip options :)
Palm Springs Iconic Pink Door (Part 1)
outfitsComment
If any of you have ever been on the internet, you've probably seen the iconic pink door. It's beautiful! It's pink! It's a Mid-Century jewel!
The door is the entrance to Moises Esquenazi's home (entirely designed by him). Click here to see photos of what lay behind the door I promise you won't be disappointed.
Overall the whole city of Palm Springs is a virtual museum of Mid-Century Modern architecture with possibly the world's largest and best-preserved examples of elegant homes and landmark buildings constructed during the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s. And that is just one of many reasons why I wanted to visit.
Pinterest made me fall in love it's dessert charm and Instagram made me long for it's hot weather.
In the next few posts I'll be going over beautiful sites in the area that are worth visiting (and what to wear when there).
Stop number 1: Moises Esquenazi's home (The iconic pink door) Address of the iconic pink door: 1100 E Sierra Way, Palm Springs
